The outdoor ranges are closed all weekend on the first full weekend of the month

The following outdoor ranges are available:

  • 100/50yard range
  • 25 yard range

Outdoor Range Rules:

All general range rules apply. In addition:

  1. All outdoor ranges are closed on the first full weekend of the month. This is by arrangement with the Town of Littleton. NO EXCEPTIONS. Check the calendar for these closures.
  2. No targets made of glass or ceramic or materials that can shatter are permitted.
  3. Set up targets so as to minimize the likelihood of ricochets. For example, don't use rounded rocks or boulders which could cause a ricochet over the berm.
  4. Check the berm behind the target for any boulders and rocks which may cause a ricochet. Remove them from the berm before using the range.
  5. Clean up your used targets. Trash cans are provided on each range.
  6. Only shoot from within the official range areas and in the downrange direction. NO SHOOTING AT OFF-RANGE TARGETS.
  7. No hunting without a valid hunting license and within the prescribed periods for taking game.

100/50 yard range

  1. The road to the river and 25 yard range crosses the 100 yard range between the 100 and 50 yard firing lines. When using the 100 yard firing line, place the orange cones in the road on both sides of the range to warn pedestrian and vehicle traffic that the range is in use.
  2. The 100 and 50 yard firing lines are part of the same range, and cannot be used at the same time. Either the 100 yard firing line OR the 50 yard firing line may be used, but not both at the same time.
  3. Targets must be set up at the berm. No targets may be set up part-way down the range. For a shorter range, move the firing line towards the berm.

25 yard range

  1. Targets must be set up at the berm. No targets may be set up part-way down the range. If you are the only person on the range, or all shooters agree to use the same firing line, you may move the firing line forward of the stalls.

If you observe anyone violating any of these rules, contact any club officer and report the incident as soon as possible. Violation of these rules render you liable to disciplinary action or removed from club membership.
